Rock Waterfall Pool Remodel with Tahoe Blue Mini Pebble in Fort Worth, TX

This Fort Worth pool had a rock waterfall and the plaster was worn out around the boulders. We resurfaced the shell in Tahoe Blue mini pebble to match the water color to the stone.

What we found

  • Worn white plaster with staining around rock features
  • Rough surface near benches and steps
  • Original tile had faded against the waterfall stone
  • Some hollow spots behind the plaster

The homeowner's goal

Resurface the pool in a finish that looked natural next to the rock waterfall.

What we did

  1. 1. Chipped out the old plaster and repaired hollow spots
  2. 2. Reselected waterline tile that complemented the stone
  3. 3. Applied Tahoe Blue mini pebble aggregate
  4. 4. Brushed and balanced the start-up chemistry
  5. 5. Touched up sealant around the waterfall stones

The blue looks incredible next to the rock. The whole pool feels like a pond in the mountains.
