Pool remodeling service FAQs
Timelines, financing, coverage, and how our estimates work — in plain language.
How long does a typical pool remodel take?
Plan on 2 to 4 weeks for most remodels. Interior resurfacing alone is often complete within 7 to 10 working days; adding tile, coping, and new decking extends it to about 3 to 6 weeks. Outdoor kitchen and pavilion builds are quoted separately because carpentry, masonry, and utilities add time. Rain and cold weather affect plaster and concrete work, so we build a small buffer into every schedule.
Do you offer financing or payment plans?
Yes. Financing is available through our lending partners for any service on this page, from a single resurfacing job to a complete backyard renovation. You can review the options and pre-qualify on our financing page before committing to a scope of work.
What areas in DFW do you serve?
Aqua MD works throughout the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex from our Fort Worth base — Arlington, Mansfield, Keller, Southlake, Colleyville, Grapevine, Aledo, Benbrook, Burleson, Midlothian, Cedar Hill, North Richland Hills, Hurst, Bedford, Euless, and Grand Prairie included. Our service areas page lists each city with local notes about the pools we usually see there.
What is the difference between resurfacing and remodeling?
Resurfacing is one line item: chip out the failing interior finish and apply a new pebble, quartz, or plaster surface. Remodeling combines that surface work with upgrades around the pool — waterline tile, coping stone, travertine or paver decking, LED lighting, water features, and smart equipment. Many customers start by asking for a resurface and choose a light remodel once they see how much the tile and coping affect the finished look.
