Poolside Outdoor Kitchens & Pavilions in Fort Worth & DFW
These DFW homeowners already had pools they liked and a backyard nobody used between noon and sunset. Shade was the first ask, cooking space was the second, and a few wanted a real gathering spot with a fireplace and a TV for game day. We designed cedar structures scaled to each house so the addition looked original rather than bolted on, then built the kitchens in masonry and stone to match the pool coping and decking.
Before & after transformation
Before: open, unshaded concrete with a portable grill and no seating. After: cedar pavilions and pergolas with stained tongue-and-groove ceilings and recessed lighting, stone-clad islands with built-in grills, pizza ovens, and bar seating, plus masonry fireplaces with mounted TVs. These outdoor living spaces extend the season well past swim weather.
These are full outdoor living builds around remodeled pools in the Dallas–Fort Worth area. The homeowners loved their pools but had no shade, no place to cook, and nowhere for guests to sit through a Texas summer. We designed and built cedar pavilions and pergolas with tongue-and-groove ceilings, stone-clad kitchen islands with built-in grills and pizza ovens, bar seating, and masonry fireplaces with mounted TVs. Now the pool is only part of the story — these backyards work for dinner, game day, and cool evenings in the fall as well as swim season.
