Smart Pool Automation & LED Lighting Retrofits | DFW
These owners were still walking out to the equipment pad to flip breakers and turn mechanical timers, and their old fiber-optic lighting had gone dim and yellow with parts that were hard to source. What they wanted was control from the couch: turn on the spa on the drive home, run the waterfall during dinner, and change the light color for a party. We retrofitted existing DFW pools with LED fixtures and smart controllers instead of replacing equipment wholesale.
Before & after transformation
Before: mechanical timers, single-speed pumps, and dim fiber-optic lighting with expensive repairs. After: color-changing LED pool and spa lighting plus smart control of pumps, heater, and water features from a phone, with variable-speed pump scheduling that lowered monthly energy use.
These smart automation retrofits were done on existing DFW pools, including older fiber-optic lighting systems. The owners were walking out to the equipment pad to flip breakers and timers, and their lighting was dim, yellowing, and expensive to service. We replaced fiber optic with color LED lighting and installed smart controllers for the pumps, heater, and water features. Now everything — lights, spa mode, waterfalls, temperature — runs from a phone, and variable-speed pump scheduling has cut the energy the pool uses month to month.
