Silver Paver Pool Deck Overlay in Arlington, TX
This Arlington pool deck was structurally sound but looked dated and was slick when wet. Instead of tearing it out, we overlayed the existing concrete with silver Roman-pattern pavers.

What we found
- • Sound but stained broom-finish concrete
- • Surface slick near the pool steps
- • No visual separation between deck and coping
- • Deck too hot for bare feet in direct sun

Update the deck without the cost of full removal, and make it safer around the pool.
What we did
- 1. Cleaned and primed the existing concrete surface
- 2. Set a thin bedding layer for the overlay
- 3. Installed silver Roman-pattern pavers over the existing deck
- 4. Sealed the pavers and added joint sand
- 5. Replaced the coping mastic joint
