New Pool Build with Stacked-Stone Waterfall in Benbrook, TX
This Benbrook backyard had the room for a pool but nothing to anchor it. We built a freeform gunite pool from the ground up and crowned the far end with a stacked-stone waterfall that emptied into the pool.

The homeowner's goal
Build a new freeform pool with a stacked-stone waterfall as the centerpiece and give the backyard a resort feel.
What we did
- 1. Excavated and formed the freeform gunite shell
- 2. Set plumbing, drains, and electrical for the pool and feature
- 3. Sprayed the gunite shell and let it cure
- 4. Installed a stacked-stone waterfall face with multiple spillways
- 5. Upgraded the pump to handle the feature flow
- 6. Poured the concrete deck around the new pool
- 7. Applied the French Grey quartz interior and added color LED lighting
